Former Pointless presenter Richard opted for a black printed T-shirt with navy trousers and a light blue blazer.

Richard confirmed his engagement to Ingrid during an interview with fellow novelist Marion Keyes in May. 

Richard had previously sparked rumours of a marriage proposal in April when Ingrid was pictured wearing the emerald ring on her wedding finger.

Asked by Keyes if he was getting married during an interview for The Guardian, he confirmed: ‘Yes, exciting, isn’t it?!’

The presenter embarked on a romantic relationship with Doctor Who star Oliver last summer after knowing her on a platonic basis for many years. 

The actress subsequently moved into Richard’s south-west London home that October, and he admitted he’s finally found happiness.

Appearing on the Christmas Day edition of Desert Island Discs, he said: ‘I’m happy with myself, I’ve got these beautiful kids, I’ve met the woman who I’m going to be with for the rest of my life.

‘That thing of competition and ambition, you soon realise that rocket fuel disappears and it’s about happiness and my kids bring me happiness and Ingrid brings me happiness.’

The host finalised his divorce from his former wife in 2007 and has two children, daughter Ruby and son Sonny, with her.
