You Will Need:
a packet of alfalfa seeds (about 1.5g)
A small bowl or small plate
Three paper towels
an air mister, or a small water Jug
How to Grow:
Put 3 sheets of paper towel on a plate.
Remove the water from the plate. The paper towel must be dampened, but seeds shouldn’t be floating in water.
Place the seeds in a uniform manner on the towel.
Set it on a sunny window with water to stop the paper towel from drying out. Use spray bottles or misters to dampen the seeds or بذور جرجير add a tiny amount of water to the saucer using the smallest cup or jug.
Every day, بذور جرجير check your seeds to check how they’re growing.
Troubleshooting
Alfalfa is a simple to cultivate seed that can be able to germinate in between 2 and 6 days. If seeds don’t sprout in this time Here are some possibilities of what could have gone wrong:
Too dry. Seeds require water to develop. Alfalfa seeds absorb around half their weight in water prior to they begin to germinate, making the appearance of swollen. If the seeds you have are too dry, they won’t sprout. To ensure that the seeds don’t get sucked up in water, add more to the plate. You can also soak your seeds overnight; just be sure to drain and rinse them with clean water before spreading them on the towel.
Too moistIf the seeds are too moist, their new shoots and roots could become rotten before they have a chance to grow. Also, it is possible that mould may begin to develop on the seeds. It’s acceptable for the paper towel to be wet however the seeds should not be floating on water. Drain excess water from the dish each time you mist or water the seeds.
Too cold or hot: The best temperature for alfalfa to grow is 20-25 degrees Celsius. If you’re growing your seeds in winter, you can put them in a cool area indoors. It may be necessary to be more frequent in watering your seeds if you grow them in very hot temperatures. They’ll dry out quicker.
