Watching seeds germinate is excellent activity for children particularly when the seeds are sprouting quickly. Alfalfa ( Medicago the sativa) is an easy to grow seed that should develop in the next week. Sprinkle a little amount of alfalfa seeds onto a moist paper towel to observe it grow and germinate.
What you’ll need:
A packet of seeds from alfalfa (about 1.5g)
A small or small dish, or a saucer
Three pieces of paper towels
A small spray mister or water jug
How to grow:

After that, you should drain the water off the plate. The paper towel needs to be damp, but the seeds shouldn’t be floating in the water.
Sprinkle the seeds evenly onto the paper towel.

Too hot or cold: The best temperature for alfalfa to grow is 20-25 degrees Celsius. If you’re planting your seeds indoors in winter, set them in a warm area. If you’re cultivating your seeds in very hot temperatures, you may have to water them more often because they’ll dry out quicker.
