To be honest, the whole time I was watching the show, I got the feeling that it should be on SyFy
I’ve heard that you have to read the book to really understand this series, so maybe that’s why the story just came out. Doesn’t seem rich or captivating (as I find myself distracted by everything around me, which happens when my focus is lost).
Unfortunately, I think this falls into the category of recent shows like Rings of Power (which I think is better)
While you can tell the production value was great, it just doesn’t feel like MAX owns it, especially with their other huge hits.
