A Montana farming family battles others who are encroaching on their land. Forrie J. Smith, who plays Lloyd, is a seasoned rodeo expert. John Dutton (Kevin Costner) often seems to “forget” what’s going on. his Montana accent and reverts to his usual SoCal speaking voice. Featured in WatchMojo: 10 Best Summer TV Shows Off Your Radar (2018) This is the kind of show where cowboy/western life meets big city mob life. This show is well-cast, the first two episodes are well-written, and you’ll want more after each episode. Not to mention the scenery of Montana and Utah is beautiful. The Duttons remind me of the Ewings from the 70s drama “Dallas.” In short, Yellowstone is “Dallas” meets “The Sopranos.”
