Some of the most important lessons that life has to offer can’t be found in a school building. Things, like working, can show us how to function as adults. Then we’ll be able to find out who identified you as an employee. Did you work every weekend? I worked every weekend. I worked most weekends. I only worked on weekends. I didn’t work weekends. Artichoke and spinach dip. I was disgusted with cleaning the restrooms. I was apprehensive about refilling dressings and the ketchup. I was apprehensive about cleaning out the grease trap. I was a terrible employee. I was a decent employee. I was a trustworthy employee. I had to wear pants and a polo top. I had to wear a shirt with a collar. There were uniforms that were fully stocked. I had to wear a t-shirt as well as black pants. I went to the mall. I bought lunch for myself. I put it in the bank. I filled my car with gasoline. I was only working for five hours. I was able to work between six and ten hours. My hours varied between 11 and 15. I worked over 16 hours. I liked earning my own money. I loved my coworkers. It was important to me. I enjoyed working with people. I had to wear a half-apron. Full aprons were required. It depends which part of the establishment you worked in. I was a hostess/hostess. I served as serving. I was cooking. I was an assistant dishwasher. They weren’t a fan of the food. They only came in one time each week. They would visit every once in awhile. They didn’t pose a problem at work. I was able to manage my money. I also learned how to collaborate with other people. I learned how to cook. I learned to manage difficult people. If they did a great job, I would tip them. Why would I do this? I always tipped at the end of every shift. I broke many dishes. I didn’t break any dishes. A few were broken. The restaurant was not a break, but it was an all-you-can eat dinner. They offered unlimited refills on some items. There was a small buffet. I didn’t drink at that time. I had a drink to taste the product. I would have been fired. I was able to hang with my buddies. We were a small family. I was able to have a good time with a couple of them. We probably went out at least once. There were a few burger options. The restaurant did not offer burgers. I served burgers seasonally. While burgers were served but steak was the most requested. After working there I can’t take a meal there. Sometimes , I go to the restaurant. I don’t eat often as much as I did in the past. There’s only one meal per year. The older staff members took care of me with a smile. The older members of the staff were treated like servants. The older staff members treated me fairly. I was treated as an equal by the senior staff members. It could be a great second job. I still work in the restaurant. I’m hoping I won’t have to return to the restaurant. The day was not the only time I wore one. I wore a hat. Yes, I did wear hairnets. However, I did not wear one. It was a place where I made many acquaintances. I had a few coworkers who were acquaintances. A few of them worked at different establishments. One good friend was my coworker. I fell asleep. I went to a friend’s house. I went for food.
